When will my pond turn clear?
Good question! While there is no quick answer to this question (mainly because each pond is unique and has its own set of pre-existing conditions), we find it usually takes 2-4 weeks. Give it time! Don’t expect to go out the next day and see a clear pond.
When should I add the second dose?
We usually recommend adding a second dose in about two weeks after the initial dose. The second dose should be equal to the first and of the same product.
Are your products safe for pets and farm animals?
Yes! Our products are 100% non-toxic. They are made with mostly organic materials and are all natural. We do not use any genetically modified ingredients. Since they are also probiotics they will actually enhance all life including fish, turtles, dogs, cats, horses, plants, etc.
Will your products work on concrete, lined, plastic, preformed, wood, etc. ponds?
Yes! They will work in any type of pond including natural earth bottom ponds.
Are your products available in local stores?

Will your products remove algae?
Our products are not algaecides. They will control algae on the rocks and other submerged objects but not eliminate it. It will clear your water of any suspended algae. We believe that algae is part of the natural ecosystem of a pond. Algae has a purpose in a pond. The trouble is when it gets out of control. We recommend removing as much excess algae as possible before using our products.
Can I use other products along with your products?
We do not recommend using other products along with our products. These include other bacteria products, algaecides, fish medicines, clarifiers, sludge removers, etc. You can use chlorine/chloramine removers.
Can I use a filter?
Yes. Water filters are fine as long as there are no chemical additives used in the filter. Normal filters with foam type pads are fine. You can also use the ceramic type filter media. DO NOT use a UV filter as they kill all bacteria (good and bad) in the pond.
I put Pond Magician (or Pond Super Starter) in my pond and it got worse. Is that normal?
Sometimes after you add bacteria to a pond it will appear to get worse before it gets better. Give it time.
How do I apply Pond Magician (or Pond Super Starter)?
You can just pour it into the pond straight from the bottle. Pour a little at a few places around the edge of the pond or pour it into the stream or waterfall if you have one. The idea is to get the product evenly dispersed in the pond. You can also spray it onto the pond surface with a garden sprayer. This helps if you have a lot of surface algae.
What if I have some other treatments in my pond already?
We recommend waiting at least a week (or more if you have a lot of different treatments in your pond) before applying Pond Magician. Run your filter continuously to help dissipate the chemicals. If you can, use activated carbon in your filter to absorb any chemicals.
